FABRIC SENSES

TABLE ART · COLLECTABLE OBJECTS

DESIGNED BETWEEN
PARIS & PELION

A way of living

The movement of fabric, shaped in clay.

Folds, pleats, seams and raw edges are translated into ceramic forms. Each piece preserves the movement of the hand and the memory of cloth — sculptural, tactile and made to be used.

The Origin of a Gesture

“Just as I have always searched for the perfect line, I have spent years exploring textures, movement, fabrics and shapes.”

For years, Katharina studied how fabric moves around the body. Fabric Senses carries that curiosity to the table: the softness of cloth becomes a lasting ceramic gesture, inviting touch as much as sight.

Between Paris & Pelion

Two worlds, one gesture.

Paris taught proportion, elegance and the culture of gastronomy. Pelion reveals every day that beauty begins in nature. Between these two places, architecture becomes ceramics. Each piece carries traces of both worlds.

Ceramicist Christos Giannakopoulos and designer Katharina Kriener with the collection

The atelier

Imagined together. Shaped by hand.

Every Fabric Senses piece is imagined by Katharina Kriener and brought to life in close collaboration with master ceramicist Christos Giannakopoulos in Pelion, Greece.

Design and craftsmanship meet in a shared pursuit of beauty, precision and authenticity.

The hands behind each piece

Gesture, material, time.

Every form begins with a familiar function, then develops through touch. At the leather-hard stage, handles, folds and edges are refined individually before the first firing. Small variations make every piece its own.

The designer

Katharina Kriener

With a background as an architect, Katharina explores the relationship between space, material, light and human experience. Fabric Senses extends this approach to the table.

Whether designing an opera house or a piece of table art, the intention is always the same: elegant and timeless lines, shaped by proportion, movement, material and light.
